Cynthia Adams Obituary
November 18, 1940 - August 12, 2024
Age 83, of Williamsville, NY, died on Tuesday, August 12, 2024, supported by the loving presence of close friends and family. Born in Williamsville, NY on November 18, 1940 to Floyd T. and Clara P. Adams, she graduated from the Buffalo General Hospital School of Nursing in 1961 and earned a BS in nursing from the University of Buffalo in 1967. Her long medical career included nursing and administrative roles at Buffalo General Hospital and Kaleida Health. A Calvary Episcopal Church altar guild member and a life-long animal lover and dog and cat parent, Cynthia enjoyed gardening, canning, candy-making, and traveling with family and friends, with whom she made regular seasonal visits to Florida and Lake George. Cynthia is preceded in death by her three siblings, Susan Alessi, Thomas Adams, and Richard Adams, and nephew Christopher Adams, and is survived by 11 nieces and nephews, their children and grandchildren. Services: September 28, 2024, 10:00 a.m., Calvary Episcopal Church, Williamsville, NY; private burial to follow. Donations to Erie County SPCA gratefully appreciated.

My Grandparents owned the house next door from Cynthia when I was little. Aunt Cynthia as I knew her, was the loving neighbor who let us play with her dogs and cats whenever I was visiting my grandparents. She was always so welcoming, loving and caring .
