So sorry to see this. Anne, if you remember, my mother Barbara McDermott and I came to you and Mary Jo for years for our hair. I was in high school.
My mom died two years ago.

My deepest condolences to Bill and the kids as well as the Mcguire family. I met Mary Jo in 3rd or 4th grade, we shared many classes together. Mary Jo went above and beyond to do my hair and makeup for my wedding. I will miss our over the fence chats and quick visits. I am just so very sorry for the loss of such a beautiful soul.

Mary Jo McGuire
My memories of Mary Jo McGuire go all the way back to 1973 - 1974 in Mr. Kenneth Walter's 6'th grade class at Roosevelt Elementary School in Kenmore, New York.
Mary Jo McGuire had such a presence about her that once you met her, you would never would forget her. I would even say that you could not have known Mary Jo McGuire and not have strong vibrant memories of her.
Mary Jo was the rare kind of person that was just excited about life, and you could just sense this about her without even really trying.
I have always believed that Mary Jo's real beauty radiated from the inside out, it was just who she was.
However, for me personally, it was her personality that stood out the most. Mary Jo could walk into a room and instantly change the atmosphere in that room. She was cute, funny, warm and certainly charming and it all seemed to just come so naturally to her, WOW!
Now I realize that this was some 50 years ago. But I believe that the "essential person", who it is that makes you, you, really never changes.
Question, how do you measure the worth or value of a person's life?
Well, I believe that I have a small part of the answer.
The way in which they touch the lives around them, like Mary Jo did, in a meaningful and significantly positive way and the joy that they bring into the lives of others daily. Let us not forget the long term impact that a life such as Mary Jo's can have as well.
That by itself is a legacy that will stand the test of time and beyond.
To: Mary Jo's family.
Although I never met Mary Jo's family, I would like to offer my deepest condolences on your loss. Unfortunately, there are no words in the English language that can properly express this or the greif that I also feel.
To Mary Jo's husband Bill, to who I never made the acquaintance, I would just like to say, Sir, I am so very, very sorry for your loss. Mary Jo was quite a lady, in so many, many ways.
Truly, the people, the relationships and the moments in our lives that we cherish the most are sadly only are ours for a little while, perhaps a fleeting moment.
Although, it is comforting for me to know that Mary Jo was married and had a loving husband, family and friends.
I would like to share one last thought that I believe to be true and absolute.
In all the vastness of the universe, there is no force stronger or more powerful than pure LOVE, none.
In closing, I just wanted to say thank you for allowing me to share just a small portion from my heart to yours and to all, everyone, who knew Mary Jo (McGuire) Neal and God bless.
