Glenda Giesler Obituary

Glenda M. Giesler, 86, of Cabot, was called home peacefully by her Lord and Savior on Monday, Jan. 12, 2026.
Glenda was born to Albert "Singer" and Frieda Lang Giesler on Jan. 17, 1939.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Wayne, Francis "Chug" and Daryl Giesler; her nieces, Penny Bacher and Heidi Bringenberg; two nephews, Christy and Doug Giesler; and her great-niece, Megan Dietz.
Left to cherish her memory are her beloved sister and caregiver, Karen Eurich; and three generations of nieces and nephews.
Glenda loved spending time with her family and babysat many children in the community for over 30 years.
Glenda was doubly blessed to have her extended family as well as her Concordia family. She called Concordia her home and resided there for over 16 years, embracing all activities and crafts with passion and joy while making many friends with others and staff.
God's plan for Glenda was a different journey than most. From birth, she faced many physical challenges and struggles, with a strong faith, grace and a positive attitude, and a smile, living her life to the fullest.
Glenda's family would like to thank her faithful friends who visited her and the Schwalm Hall Skilled Care staff for their love and compassion given to Glenda through the years, especially during the past several months.
GIESLER - Friends of Glenda M. Giesler, who died Monday, Jan. 12, 2026, will be received from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 330 Hannahstown Road, Cabot, with Pastor Brian Bocian officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Skilled Activity Department of Concordia Lutheran Ministries, CLM Foundation, 134 Marwood Road, Cabot, PA 16023, or St. Luke Lutheran Church.
