Dorothy Disney Obituary

Dorothy Disney (Dottie) passed away peacefully on October 25, 2024 at age 91. She was married for 50 years to Raymond Disney and they had a daughter, Karen Disney Lippa. They lived in Annapolis and loved to travel, visiting many countries for Raymond's work and vacations. Dottie was born 18 minutes after her identical twin sister, Peggy. The twins were as close as sisters could be. They spent every possible moment together and dressed alike every day until the very end. It was their pleasure to fool people that couldn't tell them apart. After high school they went to nursing school together at Church Home in Baltimore. Peggy's children thought of Aunt Dot as their second mom. They spent every birthday and holiday together and Peggy's grandkids and great grandkids also loved Aunt Dot with all their hearts. Dottie is survived by her brother, Bobby Robinson. She is predeceased by her husband Raymond, daughter Karen and her sisters, Peggy Sullivan and Bunny Woodburn. Dottie was always very kind and loving and she enjoyed visiting with friends and family any chance she could. She will be missed by everybody that knew her. Family and friends are invited to Dottie's life celebration on Monday, November 4 from 11-12, followed by her funeral service at 12 noon, at Kalas Funeral Home and Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater.
