Elizabeth Kiomall Obituary

Elizabeth Cynthia Kiomall, 73, of Elkton, MD passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024. Born in Malta, Europe on March 30, 1951, she is the daughter of Carmen Lynch Mallia, Elkton, MD and the late Anthony Mallia.

Elizabeth dedicated much of her life to family and her community, having worked alongside her husband at Edward's Fashions and later at the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales. Elizabeth had a deep love for her family, especially her grandsons, and she treasured every moment spent with them. Her passions extended to cooking, traveling and immersing herself in a good book. Elizabeth was a lifelong learner who enjoyed expanding her knowledge of the world around her. She had also been actively involved in the revitalization of Elkton, where she spent her time and energy to enhancing the community.

Survivors include her loving husband of 49 years, Edward Kiomall; daughter, Theresa Carmen Marie Decker and son-in-law, Bryan Decker, Peachtree City, GA; grandsons, Paul Decker and Matthew Decker; siblings, Joseph Mallia, Gambrills, MD, William Mallia, Venice, FL, Rita Mallia, Elkton, MD, Audrey Mallia, Baltimore, MD, and Anthony Mallia, Allentown, PA; and loving nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 AM, Thursday, October 10, 2024 at Immaculate Conception Church, 454 Bow Street, Elkton, MD 21921, with visitation from 10:00 - 11:30 AM. Interment will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Cherry Hill, MD.
