Emanuel Alvin Yoder
April 24, 1980 - August 10, 2022
Howard, Pennsylvania - Emanuel Alvin Yoder, 42, of Howard, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at Hershey Medical Center after a 4-year. battle with Multiple Myeloma. He was born in Lock Haven on April 24, 1980, a son of Alvin and Sheila Nyman Yoder of Howard. On September 16, 2006, he was united in marriage to Jess McCloskey who survives at their home.
Emanuel was a graduate of Bald Eagle High, Class of 1998. He was employed by the University Area Joint Authority for 21 years. He was a member of the Howard V.F.W. Emanuel loved farming, camping and attending Grange Fair, and watching old Westerns on Television but above all he loved spending time with his immediate family and extended family. He particularly enjoyed watching his girls play softball (usually from the outfield, so as not to get in trouble with the officiating crew) and took great pride in them.
Along with his wife and parents he is survived by his daughters, Alexis, Autumn, and Mackenzie, all at home, two brothers, Levi (Rachel), and Joel (Meisha)Yoder all of Howard, and nieces, Maelee and Evelyn Yoder, and nephews, Tayten and Jayce Yoder, and Archie and Coby McCloskey.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at the Howard Fire Company Social Hall, Walnut Street, Howard at 10:00 A.M. Friends will be received on Monday, August 15th from 5-9 P.M. at the fire hall. Burial will be at Schenck's Cemetery, Howard.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to "Jess Yoder" in c/o Kader-Neff F.H., P.O. Box 108, Howard, Pa, 16841 to be placed in a college fund for their girls to be established.
