The family received friends from 5-6:45 p.m. Thursday prior to the service.
Funeral services were held at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10, at New Heights Baptist Church in Trinity.
Burial was at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 12, in Unaka Baptist Church Cemetery, 12488 Beaver Dam Road, Murphy, N.C.
Wright Funerals-Cremations, Archdale, was in charge of arrangements.
