Davis Schroyer Anderson, age 83 of Floral City passed away at home on October 6, 2025. Davis was born in Beaver County, PA on February 2, 1942 to the late David Donald Anderson and Lois Bennett, however, he was raised by Wilma Anderson. He was employed in the painting and decorating industry. He also served our country in the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his brother Gregg Anderson of Tennessee; 6 sisters: Carolyn Hohmann of Sanford, FL; Donna Ketchel of Lake Panasoffkee; Dava Anderson of Inverness; Joni Anderson of Inverness; Amanda Mullen of Floral City; and Mickey Cline of Latrobe, PA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Wilma McClain and Jo Anderon Maxwell. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
There is a Celebration of Life scheduled at the Floral City Methodist Church on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 2:00 PM. Pastor Cindy Long will officiate. Burial will follow in Hills of Rest Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, FL.
