The Service of Remembrance for Kenneth Arthur Le Meur, age 57, of Homosassa, FL, will be held 1:00 PM, Thursday, October 16, 2025 at the Homosassa Chapel of Hooper Funeral Homes. Interment will follow at Fountains Memorial Park, Homosassa, FL. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, Thursday at the Homosassa Chapel. Ken was born April 22, 1968 in North Miami, FL, son of Kenneth A. Le Meur, Sr., and Florence Parks. He passed away October 8, 2025 in Largo, FL. Ken was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who fought in the Gulf War. He had worked and retired as a police officer for the Opa Locka Police Department. Ken currently works for the U.S. Government in the Treasury Department. He was immensely proud to be a Marine and a law enforcement officer.
In his off time Ken enjoyed spending time with his family, watching Lifetime and Hallmark movies as well as playing solitaire on his phone.
He was preceded in death by his father, mother, son, Parker Dunn Le Meur and father-in-law, C. Earl Catlett. Ken is survived by his family which includes: wife, Janelle Catlett Le Meur of Homosassa, FL, son, Jordan Thomas Le Meur of Homosassa, FL, daughter-in-law, Gabrielle Rae Briscoe of Homosassa, FL, sisters, Kristy Spencer and Kerrie Guarnaccia, 3 grandchildren, Grayson Ray Le Meur, William Arthur Le Meur and Abel Josiah Martin and mother-in-law Joyce Ann Catlett. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hooper Funeral Homes & Crematory.
