Anthony Michael Zambetti, 62, of Yatesville, passed away Friday, Oct. 6, 2023, in Hershey Medical Center.
Born in Rome, N.Y., on Feb. 27, 1961, he was the son of the late Anthony Carmen and Eleanor Marie Menichelli Zambetti.
Anthony was a graduate of Pittston Area High School, Class of 1979, and Penn State University, apprenticeship plumbing program. He was employed as a plumber by Techneglas and Penn State Mechanical.
He enjoyed gardening, car shows, cooking and watching Penn State football. In his earlier years, he enjoyed going to concerts and amusement parks. He was the most loving father, grandfather, brother and friend. His ultimate joy was spending time with family and his grandchildren, especially Jax. He also loved his dogs and taking care of his saltwater fish. He will be forever loved and is already greatly missed.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 19 years, Lisa Ann Hine Zambetti, on July 21, 2023.
Surviving are his children, Anthony Zambetti, Philadelphia; Julia Zambetti, Pittston; Jessica Timko (Andrew), Wyoming, and Erica Bezdziecki, Denver, Colo.; grandchildren, Jaxton Zawatski, Avianna, Grantland and Gracelyn Timko; sister, Carol Martin (Steve), Pylesville, Md.; nephew, Steven Martin; mother-in-law, Betty J. Hine, Jenkins Twp.; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
