Thomas R. Pepe, 83, of Exeter, passed away Sunday, Sept. 24, 2023, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital, Plains Twp.
Born in Pittston, he was the son of the late Thomas and Theresa Garafola Pepe.
Tommy was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church and attended Exeter schools.
He was self-employed as the owner of the Cynthia Sue Fashions in the garment industry. After selling his business, he worked for the Wyoming Area School District.
Preceding him in death was his beloved wife, the former Veronica A. Kowanick, in 2013; and siblings, Rita Cohowicz, Antoinette Chundock, Catherine Hammerman and Shirley Pepe.
Surviving are his daughters, Pamela and her husband, Frank Braccini; and Ann and her husband, Brian Cook; grandchildren, Victoria, F.J. and Brianna Braccini; and Matthew, Gianna and Luke Cook; brother, James and his wife, Hazel Pepe; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to call from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday in St. Barbara Parish, 224 Memorial St., Exeter.
A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 10 a.m. with Monsignor John Sempa, pastor, as celebrant.
Private interment will be held in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Due to Tom's love for animals, donations may be made to Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge, 974 Lockville Road, Dallas, PA 18612.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. "Pepper" as I called him during my coaching days at WA spent many evenings together at the school and enjoyed hundreds of laughs together. He was a wonderful man and our friendship blossomed during those years.
