Reverend Dr. Charles P. Lucas Jr., Pastor - Civil Rights Activist - Community Leader. He was born Feb. 26, 1941. He passed peacefully on Saturday, November 01st, 2025. Loving father of Jason (Yolanda), Dr. Lollie (Jeff), adored grandfather of Harper and Beckett; He was well-loved by a host of family & friends. Family will receive friends Sunday, November 09th from 3:00-6:00p.m., at St. James AME Church 8401 Cedar Rd. Cleve., Ohio. with the Omega Psi Phi Inc. Memorial Service starting at 5:00p.m. Celebration of Life Services will be at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, November 10th, 2025 at the same location. Family will receive friends one-hour prior to service. Live streaming will be available at lucasfuneralhome.com. Arrangements entrusted to Lucas Memorial Chapel 9010 Garfield Blvd. Garfield Hts., OH. Interment at Lakeview Cemetery.

I remember when he married me and my late husband. He was a kind man with a gentle soul. He attended my husband´s funeral and spoke, which was very thoughtful. My sincere condolences to the family.

Mrs. Glass party 90th birthday party it was also my birthday. 65thon September 15, As they laughed and he enjoyed his self. Oh he shall be missed love Sister Laurie Johnston praying for the family!
