What a wonderful person. Just found out. He would call me out of the blue to check in. He never mentioned the specifics on what he was dealing with. Just said, 'some things are going on'. A wonderful family as well. We worked closely at Lincoln Electric and kept in touch over the years.

It is with great sympathy that I express my condolences in my nephew Michael´s passing. My family and I had a special bond with Jean, Jerry and Michael. Through the years, our families visited and vacationed together. Mike was a special part of our family, always very caring, respectful and considerate. Last year Mike and Laura came to visit me, and I was very grateful for that time together. I am happy to say that Mike and Laura raised a beautiful family with these same values.

My heart goes out to The Stump Family. I got to know Mike over the years as a supplier to Bendix. We had a memorable trip to Germany together and became friends over many meetings, meals, and beers over the past 10 years. Mike loved his family, was a dedicated hard working employee of Bendix, and always put a smile on my face with his stories and great sense of humor. The Kaysun team will miss you Mike. God bless. Mikey will be sadly missed on the basketball court. I had the privilege working with you and your professionalism and character came shining through on the basketball court just like you done in your life.

Laura, Erik ,Adam and Alex,
We are heartbroken at the news of Mike's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you now and in the days ahead. We wish you peace and strength.
Although we didn't know of Mike's recent struggles, we are sure he handled them with faith and hope, and a bit of humor with you all by his side. His love and pride for you was always evident.
We have been reminiscing about our many memories of Mike- all of which bring smiles through our tears. We feel fortunate to call him a friend of many years, beginning with Little League of course. He always had a smile, a hug, and a story to share.
Laura, we are grateful that you and Mike were with us for Evan's wedding and only wish we had more time to share.
Please know that there is an entire community surrounding your family with love at this time.
With love and prayers,
Kelley, Jim, Evan, Rachel and Josh Chokan

My deepest condolences to Laura and Adam and his brothers and family. Mike was a terrific all around person and will be sorely missed. I last spoke with him at Bendix when I was on a consulting assignment in Dec 2022 when I visited his office to chat. It was great to catch up about the family. Our son Clay enjoyed being coached by
Mike on the 7th grade holy trinity basketball team where Mike helped the boys bond and form long term friendships as teammates

Mike was such a wonderful manager, such a mentor. He hired me into the Gpe group and I could not be happier. My heart is broken. Hugs to Laura and the boys.
