Audrey Krom Gist Obituary

Audrey L. Krom Gist, 92, of Westminster, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at her daughter's residence in Fairfield, PA.
Born October 29, 1932, in Germany Township, PA., she was the daughter of the late Charles Franklin and Ruth Marvine (Strevig) Krom. She was the wife of the late Paul Neal Gist, who predeceased her in 1985.
Audrey was a devoted homemaker who lovingly raised her family. She enjoyed traveling, making flower arrangements, and sitting in her sunroom watching the birds and squirrels. Audrey dedicated her life to caring for others, her compassion knew no bounds. She was the heart of her family, always putting the needs of others before her own. She will be deeply missed.
Surviving Audrey are daughters Charlene T. Bowers and husband Widge of Fairfield, PA., and Paula L. Charms of Hanover, PA; granddaughter Stacey Truman of Westminster; great grandchildren Aiden and Liam Truman; siblings Paul Krom and wife Suzi of McSherrystown, PA., and Barbara Dell of Manchester; and sisters in law Janet Krom of New Oxford, PA and Sue Krom of South Carolina.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by siblings Roy Krom, Bob Krom, and Jane Davis.
The family will welcome friends on Monday, October 14, 2024, from 12:30pm to 1:30pm at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster. A funeral service will begin at 1:30pm. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg.
