Dolores Irene Neidert 83, of Loretto, TN, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2024 at NHC Scott Healthcare Lawrenceburg, TN, after a long illness. She was born September 6, 1940, in Strong City, KS. She was a retired teacher who educated children for over 30 years in the North Kansas City School district and at Sacred Heart School in Loretto. After retirement she was a volunteer at NHC Scott, the local food bank, and Sacred Heart Church. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma and Sacred Heart Church in Loretto.
Dolores is survived by her husband of 50 years, Bobby Neidert of Loretto; her daughter, Melinda Neidert Morton; her son-in-law Bill Morton; her granddaughter, Mallory Morton of Fairview, TN; her sisters, Dorothy Cacioppo and Valeria Campbell of Kansas City, MO; her brother, Father Maurice Haefling of Atchison, KS; several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Mary Ann Beumer Haefling, her sisters, Sister Edna Haefling, Pat Haefling, and Sister Markita Haefling, and her brothers, Jim Haefling and Joe Haefling.
Visitation will be Monday July 29, 2024, from 12:00- 2:00 pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Joseph, TN. The Funeral Mass will follow at 2:00 pm with Father Delly Mutajuke officiating. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Loretto.

Delores was one of the nicest people that I have ever known. I first met when my mother was a patient at NHC. I am so sorry for your loss but she is rejoicing with the angels today
