Donavan Lee Telsrow, 67, of Moscow, Iowa, passed away at his home on Friday, December 29, 2023. A memorial gathering will be held from 4:00 -7:00 p.m., Friday, January 5, 2024 at Bentley Funeral Home, Wilton.

Donavan was born on December 29, 1956, the son of Darold and Delores (Ross) Telsrow. He graduated from Durant High School with the Class of 1975. Donavan married Beth Coss on March 6, 1976 at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Durant.

After graduation, Donavan owned and operated a grain truck for many years. He later worked for Wolfe Beverage in Davenport and American Freightways (later owned by FedEx Freight), retiring in 2008. In his retirement, Donavan enjoyed fishing and watching westerns and sports - especially the Iowa Hawkeyes. He also loved animals, especially his two granddogs, Diesel and Cora. Most of all, Donavan treasured spending time with his friends and family at "Harry's Garage".

Donavan will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Beth; two sons, Derrick (Katherine Ball) Telsrow of Punta Gorda, Florida and Trent (Kelly) Telsrow of Atalissa, Iowa; three grandchildren, Mylo, Lola, and Kaia; six brothers and sisters, Deanna (Jim) Reimers of Davenport, Iowa, Deborah (Lavern) Cole of Bennett, Iowa, Duane "Dewey" Telsrow of Wilton, Iowa, Dale "Browse" Telsrow of Wilton, Douglas (Peg Conrad) Telsrow of Maggie Valley, North Carolina and Dennis Telsrow of West Branch, Iowa; and three stepsisters, Cindy Ploog of Charlotte, Iowa, Sally Schmidt of West Branch, Iowa, and Susan Heilmann of West Branch, Iowa; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Donavan was preceded in death by his parents, Darold and Delores; his step-mother, Ruby; two infant sons, Donavan, Jr. and Ian; one nephew, JJ Reimers; and brother-in-law, Kris Heilmann.
