Modesto, California - Renette Kehaulani Akiona, passed away on December 26, 2024, at the age of 64 in Modesto, California. She was born in Honolulu Hawaii, August 24, 1960, to Albert Kauluhaimalama Akiona Sr and Kehaulani Mossman of Waimanalo, Hawaii. She was a graduate of Campbell High School's class of 1978 in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. Her love and wisdom for family steered her through life's ups and downs. Her discipline and courage strengthened her resolve to never give up on life all the way to the end. Known to her family and friends as Kehau, she was a true artist and craftsman. As a sister of 4 younger siblings, she gave herself up as a shield and conspirator as a child, for she was always responsible for their actions and became their second mother. She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She is loved and will be missed but will be in our hearts forever. A Hui Hou, Me Ke Aloha!

She is survived by her mother Kehaulani Mossman, father Albert (Karen) Kauluhaimalama Akiona Sr., and her siblings Reyn Kauluhaimalama Akiona, Carrie Diedre Kealaonona Akiona Storlie, Dori Ann Pilialoha Akiona Rutledge and Albert Kauluhaimalama Akiona III and her nieces and nephews Tiffnie-Ann Kau'ilani Akiona-Versola, Reyn Kauluhaimalama Akiona Jr., Jessica Kapuananio'hawaii Rhodes, Dale Kealiikala Storlie and Luke Ikaika Storlie, Alexandria Kawehiokalani Paz, Warren Reid Kamaluokalani Rutledge, Roderick Kealiimana Rutledge, Natazsa Tauni Pali Lehmann, Benson Bodie Pali, Christian Haku Pali.

Services are scheduled for 11:30 on January 2nd at Franklin & Downs Funeral Home, 1050 McHenry Ave, Modesto, CA.
