Richard Gregory Obituary
Glasgow - Richard A. Gregory, 77, of Glasgow passed away Sunday, June 18, 2023, at his residence. He was born, Aug. 1, 1945, in Jacksonville, the son of James H. "Bert" and Constance V. Walk Gregory. He was first married to and fathered two sons with Carol King. He later married Kenetta Cox, and fathered one son, and she survives.
He was also survived by sons, Todd (Michelle) Gregory of Lewisville, TX, Chad (Tina) Gregory of Jacksonville and Tyler (Alicia) Gregory of Troy; grandchildren, Morgan (Adam) Schaefer, Ethan Gregory, Margaret Gregory, Colby Gregory, Addison Gregory and Easton Gregory; great granddaughter; Valerie Schaefer and siblings, Paul (Terry) Gregory of Winchester and Donna (John) Pennell of Pittsfield. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Ronald (surviving wife, Debbie) Gregory, Darrell (Tina) Gregory, Marsha (Donnie) Savage and Retha (surviving husband, Jerry) Stinebaker.
Richard retired from Oscar Meyer in Beardstown, IL after 47 years.
A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 24, 2023, at the Daws Family Funeral Home in Winchester with interment in the Winchester City Cemetery. A visitation will be held 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, June 23, 2023, at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Winchester EMS or Winchester Fire Dept. Homer was my Friend. I always say with Him at Lone Starrs in Glasgow when I dropped in to order fish. We´d laugh and talk. He´s always concerned about people He knew and trusted. Will miss Him dearly. Karen Hatcher
