MARGARET BORDENKIRCHER Obituary

PALATINE - Margaret Mary Bordenkircher (nee Koch), 88, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Thursday, October 12, 2023. Margaret Mary was born on November 4, 1934, to Bernard and Marjorie Koch (nee Drew) in Springfield, Illinois. She married Charles "Bud" Bordenkircher on July 11, 1953, and they had recently celebrated 70 years of marriage. Margaret Mary is survived by her beloved husband, Charles; and her children, Karen (Bob) Weder, Dave (Georgette) Bordenkircher, Paul (Kathy) Bordenkircher, Julie (Karl) Lange, Beth (Mark) Steeber, Jeanne (George) Ganshirt and Marjorie (Mark) McAllister. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her children, Francis and Julie Marie. She will be missed by her siblings, Carole Walker, Jeanne (Lawrence) Franz, Bernie (Linda) Koch, Bette (Mike) Atteberry and her sister-in-law, Betty Bernet; and many nieces and nephews. Margaret Mary was so loved by many, including her 28 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Elara Caring Hospice for their special care of Margaret Mary.
