MARILYN BINGEL Obituary

Marilyn J. Bingel, 85, of Rochester, Minnesota, died on Wednesday, September 27, 2023. Marilyn was born June 9, 1938, in Chicago, IL, to Paul and Erna (Reinars) Israel. She graduated from Palatine High School in Illinois and married Willard Bingel, Jr., her High School sweetheart in 1960. She worked for Kemper Insurance in the Litigation department before retiring. Her pride and joy were her grandsons, Keagan and Nathan Clarke and Kyler Bingel. We will miss her laugh and kind heart. Marilyn is survived by her daughter, Beth (Patrick) Clarke (Chatfield, MN), son, David Bingel (Columbus, OH) and son, Bradley (Eriko) Bingel (Barrington, IL); grandsons, Keagan and Nathan Clarke and Kyler Bingel; sister, Alice Wohl; sister-in-law, Nancy Israel and brother, Raymond (Gail) Israel; brother-in-law, Ronald Bingel (Arlington Heights, IL) and sister-in-law, Nancy Young (Crystal Lake, IL); along with many nieces and nephews. Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, mother and father; her sister, Florence and brother-in-law, Ralph Erdmann, brother-in-law, Ted Wohl, sister, Carol and brother-in-law, Gail Bach, brother, Allen Israel, and brother-in-law, Robert Young. Visitation will be 8:30 am, with a service following at 9:00 am on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at Windridge Memorial Park, 7014 S. Rawson Bridge Rd., Cary, IL 60013. There will be a fellowship luncheon following at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Cary. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Seasons Hospice in Rochester, MN.
