Gary Pruitt Obituary

Gary Wayne Pruitt, age 63, resident of Cordova, Tennessee, departed this life Monday evening, September 9, 2024 at Signature Healthcare of Memphis.

Gary was born July 13, 1961 in Somerville, Tennessee, the son of Elizabeth Kelley Pruitt and the late Lemuel Pruitt. He was known as a "master craftsman" and was a construction builder for many years. Gary loved any kind of football, working with his hands, fixing old cars, helping others and being with his friends and family. His greatest victory in life was accepting Jesus Christ as his Savior.

Mr. Pruitt is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Kelley Pruitt; two brothers, Ronald Pruitt and Bill Pruitt; his niece, Paige Pruitt; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ricky Pruitt and his lifelong best friend, Glenda Petty Milligan.

A Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Pruitt will be held at 3 P.M. Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Bellevue Woods Apartments Family Center on 1818 Timber Glen Drive West, Cordova, TN 38016.

Arrangements will be provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center and condolences may be left on our online guestbook at www.PeeblesFuneralHome.com.
