Ethel Korman Schnure, age 86, of Mifflinburg, PA, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2025, at Evangelical Hospital Care Center in Lewisburg, PA.
Ethel was born at home on August 14, 1938, in Hartleton, PA, to the late parents, Edna L. and William Clark Korman.
Ethel is survived by her beloved husband, Samuel L. Schnure, her sister Kathryn Moraski of Palm Coast, FL, her sister-in-law Lucille Korman of Mechanicsburg, and numerous nieces and nephews who will forever cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Lawrence Korman of Mifflinburg and John Korman of Mechanicsburg, and her sister, Sarah Korman Eisler of Clarksboro, NJ.
A lifelong Christ United Lutheran Church member, Ethel dedicated her faith to the community she loved. She was best known for her infectious laugh, passion for baking, and hosting memorable Easter celebrations that brought joy to family and friends.
Ethel also enjoyed traveling with her husband, creating lifelong memories of the places they explored together. Her family and all who knew her will deeply miss her.
Family and friends are invited to the visitation from 10 to 11 AM on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Christ's United Lutheran Church (Four Bells), 13765 Old Turnpike Road, Millmont, with Pastor John Yost officiating.
The interment will be at Hartleton Cemetery, Mifflinburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ethel's memory may be sent to Christ's United Lutheran Church, 13765 Old Turnpike Road, Millmont, PA 17845.
