Died suddenly on 23rd February 2021.
Aged 97 years.
Dearly loved wife of Deryck (dec.). Treasured mother and mother-in-law of Michael & Susie, Jan, James (dec.) and Alan & Mailyn. Grandmother (Joy Joy) of Natasha, Samuel, Nicola, Leah, Benjamin, Josef, Joshua, Jessica, Erinna, Timothy, Hannah, Arniel and Anniemay. Great grandmother of 17.
Adored by all her nieces and nephews in the Giblin and Miles Clans, she lived and died with grace and dignity (as she lived). A very gentle, generous and caring woman who loved her family and her garden, and always interested in people. A voracious reader, A quiet philosopher and intensely spiritual.
A funeral will be held to celebrate Joy's life at St James Anglican Church, King St, Turramurra on Thursday, 4th March 2021, commencing at 2pm.
