Shirley Lenti Obituary
Shirley was born February 15, 1935 in Memphis, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Stephen Borra and Helen Lombardi Borra. She graduated from Germantown High School in 1953 and was employed with the Fayette County Government for many years. However, Shirley was happiest when she was working as a cook. She was a member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church in Somerville and was married September 23, 1955 to Joseph Pete Lenti who preceded her in death on December 21, 1995. Shirley enjoyed gardening, walking around the family farm and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Lenti is survived by her daughter, Sylvia Westrich; two sons, John Stephen Lenti (Becky) and Mark Lenti; five grandchildren, Jennifer Tucker (Tom), Jessica Lenti, Brandon Westrich (Aldridge), Stephanie Hoskins (Cody) and Chase Westrich (Sara); and seven great-grandchildren, Addison Allen, Gavyn Westrich, Jacoby Hoskins, Landon Westrich, Maddox Hoskins, Charlie Westrich and Fiona Westrich.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Lenti.
A visitation for Mrs. Lenti will be from 1 to 3 P.M. Saturday, December 21, 2024 at the Peebles Main Funeral Chapel in Somerville. Funeral Services will be at 3 P.M. Saturday, December 21, 2024 at the Peebles Main Funeral Chapel in Somerville. Interment will be private.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Tom Tucker, Cody Hoskins, Brandon Westrich and Chase Westrich.
The family requests that memorials be directed to WKNO, 7151 Cherry Farms Road, Cordova, TN 38016.
