ALBERTA JEAN "BERT" RIGUTTO JOHE, 88, of Huntington, WV passed away, Friday, August 29, 2025, in the care of Hospice and The Village At Riverview, Barboursville, WV. She was born October 11, 1936, in Pittsburgh, PA, the daughter of the late John Rigutto and Frances Rossi Patterson.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother as well as the last founding member of Christ the King Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her husband William B. Johe.

Bert is survived by two daughters, Janet Collins (Steve) of Proctorville, OH and Leslie Swanson (Stuart) of Roanoke, VA; one son, Jim Johe (Selena) of Huntington, WV; four grandchildren, Leah Forth (Michael), Jonathon Broce (Brandy), Meredith Rouse (Matthew) and Abigail Thomas (Craig); great-grandchildren, Dakotah and Olivia Forth, Grey, Oliver and Wells Rouse.

Funeral services will be private at Henson and Kitchen Mortuary and Cremation Services, 1592 E. Pea Ridge Rd. Huntington, WV, with Brent Beckett officiating. Entombment will follow in Ridgelawn Memorial Park. Family members will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations be made to Hospice of Huntington, 1101 6th Ave, Huntington, WV 25701 or Christ the King Lutheran Church 5700 US-60, Huntington, WV 25705.

The family would like to invite friends of Berts for A Celebration of Life, Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at 12:30 p.m., at Christopher's Eats (Upstairs Dining Room) 3565 US-60, Huntington, WV 25705.
