Glen Harris Obituary

Glen Earl Harris, 75, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at the NMMC-Tupelo. He was born in Lee County on October 4, 1948 to parents Claudie V. Harris and Francis Juanita (Smith) Harris. He lived most of his life in the Nettleton area and was a member of Jones Chapel Baptist Church. He was a former warehouse manager in food service. His hobbies included fishing, hunting and going camping. Glen was a retired Army veteran with 20 years of service.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 15, 2024 at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Nettleton with Bro. Wesley Stephens officiating. Burial will be in Jones Chapel Cemetery with military rites.

Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Harris, son, Lonnie Harris, three daughters, Sharon Allen (Brent), Felicia Allen (Jimmy), Wendy Benson (Brandon), nine grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, one great niece, Jessica Allred (Anthony), one nephew, John Harris, one, great nephew, Jimmy Norris.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Clyde Harris.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
