Dr. Maria Lourdes "Malou" Carpio Rigo was truly a force to be reckoned with as proven by her not one, not two, but three battles with cancer. She joined the Lord in paradise on October 17, 2023 surrounded by her husband, children, and closest friends and family. She is known for her fighting spirit having chased her dreams and succeeding. Through her dental practice, she has touched the lives of her patients and her hardworking staff quite literally leaving a trail of smiles in the process.She couldn't do this alone. The light of the Lord always guided the way. She offered every hardship to God and had a deeply personal relationship with Him. Malou was truly blessed, and her presence was its own blessing. Her teasing humor was one of the most fun parts of being around her. She exuded a warmth that was inviting to all. Her leadership and love to bring people together made her the heart of the family. She is survived by her husband Ed, daughter Angela, and son Paolo.In her unwavering faith and unwavering love, Malou will forever remain a guiding light, a source of inspiration, and a cherished memory in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. Though she may have departed, her legacy of resilience, kindness, and joy will continue to live on through the lives she touched.
