MARTHA HIATT
Mrs. Martha "Marty" C. Gall Hiatt, age 92, of Madison, Indiana entered this life on October 8, 1932 in Tipton, Indiana. She was the loving daughter of the late Albert and Lillian Peters Gall. She was a graduate of St. Joseph's Academy in Tipton and was a loving mother to two daughters and a son. Marty was united in marriage to Merrill L. Hiatt on October 30, 1976 in Milroy, Indiana. They had enjoyed 41 years together before his death. She had worked for the Dana Corporation for 30 years at the Perfect Circle Division at Tipton and in Richmond and retired in 1996. She had also worked for Harrell-Lynch Real Estate for six years after moving to the Madison community. She was a member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Marty died on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at 7:05 a.m. at the River Terrace Health Campus in Madison, Indiana. A LOVING FAMILY Marty will be missed by her loving daughters, Cindy Gardner and her husband Michael of Madison, Indiana, Aimee Walters and her husband Tim of Ashville, North Carolina; her loving son, Bradford Smith and his wife Wanda of Noblesville, Indiana; her stepdaughter, Karen Michelle Narramore of North Lewisburg, Ohio; her stepson, Timothy Hiatt of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, Albert Gall, her mother, Lillian Peters Gall, her brothers, Robert Gall, Phillip Gall, and Jim Gall, her sisters, Agnes Ripberger, Dorothy Ann Gall, Charlotte Straub, Joan Varnau, Rosemary Mason, and Margaret Robinson, her loving husband, Merrill L. Hiatt died April 4, 2018. FUNERAL CEREMONY Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, February 24, 2025,, at 1:00 p.m., by Father Christopher A. Craig at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 413 East Second Street in downtown Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the St. Patrick Cemetery,305 West State Street in Madison, Indiana VISITATION Friends may visit Monday, February 24, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. THE ROSARY The Rosary will be prayed on Monday at 12:15 p.m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
