Arthur Charles Truffer, born on May 8, 1935, in Baltimore, Maryland, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2025, at Kline Hospice House.

Art graduated from Towson High School and earned a degree in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University. He later completed his MBA at Loyola College in Baltimore.

Throughout his distinguished career, Art worked for Bendix Radio, Frederick Electronics, and Siemens in Long Island. After returning to Frederick, he co-founded Tascom, a local software company, with a close friend.

Art's work as a marketing manager took him to more than 30 countries. He had an infectious laugh, a gift for storytelling, and never met a stranger. A passionate sports car enthusiast, he especially loved his red 1963 Jaguar convertible and took great joy in organizing and participating in car rallies.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Anne; his daughter, Lori Elizabeth Lynch, and her husband, Jim, of Colorado; his son, Bradley Cain Truffer, and his wife, Melissa, of Urbana, Maryland; and his cherished grandchildren, Ashley Truffer, Justin Truffer, and Phoebe Lynch. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Jean Doyle, nephews Wesley and Chris Doyle, and dear friends George and Mary Jones of New Market.

Art will be remembered for his warmth, humor, and the lasting connections he made with everyone he met.
