Thomas Broskey Obituary

Thomas Michael Broskey, 85, of Mt. Airy, Maryland, passed away peacefully at home on October 8, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on August 12, 1940, in Gigertown, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Mary and Jack Broskey. Thomas proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy for 13 years, achieving the rank of E-5.

After his military service, Thomas built a long and respected career in the dental field, serving the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia communities for more than 40 years. He worked as Vice President of Capital Dental Supply before following his dream and starting his own company, Serenity Dental, a full-service dental consulting firm.

Thomas will be remembered for his kindness, dedication, and sense of humor. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who loved his family deeply. He is survived by his wife, Marlene; his children, Jonathan and Rachel; and his grandchildren, Evelyn and Jack. He also leaves behind his brother, Jim, and was preceded in death by his sister, Annalee, along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews whom he loved dearly.

A celebration of Thomas's life will be held on October 25th at 10:00 a.m. at Norbeck Memorial Park, 16225 Batchellors Forest Road, Olney, MD 20832.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Frederick Health Hospice, 1 Frederick Health Way, Frederick, MD 21701, or online at www.frederickhealthhospice.org/donate-support.

"Fair winds and following seas, sailor. Your watch has ended."

"His laughter, wisdom, and love will live on in all who knew him." Thomas Michael Broskey

Daddy Broskey,
I remember soo many things and soo many laughs we shared while Jonathan and I were growing up, you always had the biggest smile on your face and the dad jokes were non stop. I am glad I got to spend some time with you in the past year. You will be missed more than ever. I´ll miss being able to send you really cool 3D dental pictures and talking about what we both had in common.
