James Miller Obituary

Palm Beach Gardens - James "Jimmy" Miller passed away peacefully at home on March 10, 2025, in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, with his beloved wife, Michele, by his side.

Born on December 5, 1955, James was raised in Butler, Pennsylvania. After graduating from high school, he moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he built a successful career as a finance director and manager. He also ventured into the restaurant business as a partner, combining his entrepreneurial spirit with his love for hospitality.

James had many passions in life. He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson, fishing, scuba diving, and watching professional boxing. A devoted family man, he cherished time spent with loved ones and embraced the joy of creating lasting memories together.

In 2004, James met Michele (Bereda) when she visited the restaurant where he was a part owner. Their connection grew quickly into a deep love, and they married in 2006, building a beautiful blended family together.

James was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Trasport and Yoon Miller; and his brothers Randy Miller, Louis Trasport, Robert Miller, and Stephen Miller. He is survived by his loving wife, Michele; his daughter, Rachael; his stepson, Michael; his grandson, Christian; his brother Rick Trasport (Debbie); his sisters Laura Trasport (Frank Waren) and Leayne Trasport (Mark Eble); stepmother, Carol Trasport as well as many nieces and nephews.

James will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him. May his memory bring comfort to all who were fortunate enough to share in his life.
