Gaffney, SC - Earl Dean Jackson, 75, of 151 Goforth Drive, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at Spartanburg Medical Center.
Born in Gaffney, he was the husband of Martha Coyle Jackson and the son of the late Shuford Scott Jackson and Freddie Mae Blanton Jackson. He enjoyed watching westerns and football, especially watching Gaffney Indians, South Carolina Gamecocks and the Atlanta Falcons and loved his furbaby, "Boo Man". Mr. Jackson retired from Kohler after 50 years of service and was a member of High Point Baptist Church. He had a great love for his family and his Lord.
In addition to his wife, also surviving is a son, Jimmy Jackson (Tammy) of Gaffney; a daughter, Lynn Jackson of Gaffney; three sisters, Clara Fortner of Gaffney, Emma Lawing (James) of NC and Karen Allison of Gaffney; five grandchildren, Trevor Martin (Brianna), Jacob Jackson (Andrea), Brianna Jackson (Chris), Aaron White (Carrigan) and Bradley White (Brandi); four great-grandchildren, Arena White, Kamdyn Jackson, Haizlynn Jackson and Maddox Earl Dean Jackson; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by two sisters, Sally Jackson and Mildred.
The family will receive friends from 2:00PM until 3:00PM on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at High Point Baptist Church. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3:00PM at the church with Reverend Clifford Phillips, Reverend Clint Phillips and Mr. Jimmy Jackson officiating. Interment will be in High Point Baptist Church Cemetery.
