Deborah Muth Obituary

Deborah K. Muth, age 65 of Rockton, PA died Sunday, March 30, 2025 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital.

Born on December 4, 1959 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of Howard Hess and Beverly (Bundy) Caine. They preceded her in death.

Deb was a 1978 graduate of DuBois Area High School, and went on to obtain an Associate Degree from Penn State University.

On April 28, 1979 she married her husband of 46 years, Robert L. Muth, Jr. He survives.

Deb retired in December from Xylem/Sensus Metering in DuBois where she had worked for over 40 years.

She was a life member of Sandy Hose Company #1 Fireman's Club. Deb enjoyed reading romance novels, loved bingo and bowling, and her swimming pool. Above all, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Deb is survived by her children (Heather Sidelinger and her husband Chuck of DuBois, PA and Robert Muth and his wife Julie of Waterford, PA), her siblings (Donald Hess and his wife Chris of DuBois, PA, Edward Caine and his wife Shelly of Falls Creek, PA, Kevin Caine and his companion Stephanie Orinko of DuBois, PA, and Sherry Sidelinger of DuBois, PA) her stepfather (John "Jack" Caine of DuBois, PA) and three grandchildren (Jeffrey, Avery and Jackson Muth). She is also survived by her beloved boxer "Sadie".

She was preceded in death by one brother (James "Jimbo" Hess).

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2024 from 2 - 4 & 6 – 8PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.

A private funeral service will be held.
