A celebration of life service for Ms. Vanderlyn Franshone Witherspoon will be held on Friday, October 25th, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa Florida with Pastor William Taylor, Officiating.
Ms. Vanderlyn F. Witherspoon was born on October 4th, 1952, in Tampa, Florida to the parentage of Mr. & Mrs. John (Carmelina) Zeigler. Ms. Vanderlyn graduated from Hillsborough High School. She later worked as a Teacher’s Assistant for 30 years with the Hillsborough County Public School System.
Ms. Witherspoon was preceded in death by both her mother and father, John Carmelina Zeigler; sister, Cynthia Taylor; brother, John Zeigler, Jr and sister-in-law, Sandra.
She is survived by her daughter, Maya Fowler; grandson, Max Fowler; son-in-law, Chad Fowler; siblings, Beverly McDowell (Mike), Ronald Zeigler (Sherry), Michael Zeigler (Deloris), Jackie Zeigler; niece, Carmen Zeigler; nephews, Jonathan McDowell, Michael Homer, John Zeigler, III; brother-in-law, Pastor William Taylor and a host of other family and friends. THERE WILL BE NO VIEWING.
