Janet Griffith Obituary
Janet was the beloved wife of Joel Griffith, who loved and adored her endlessly. They were blessed by their 41 years together. They have four children, Stacy Wehsollek, Brian Griffith, Grant Griffith, and Garrett Griffith (Mary). They have seven grandsons: Michael Graham, Christian Wehsollek, Braidan Griffith, Tristan Griffith, Lane Griffith, Landon Griffith, and Oliver Griffith, as well as two great granddaughters Scarlett, and Opal Jo Graham.
Janet was the daughter of the late Jack and Norma Stull. She was born in Erie County Pennsylvania and has lived in Grant County Kentucky for 40 years. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, son Grant Griffith, Grandson Tristan Griffith, and sister Debbie Stull. In addition to her children and grandchildren, Janet is survived by two brothers Wesley (Deborah) and Brian Stull (Peggy), her father's wife of 24 years Lenora Stull, and many nieces and nephews.
She was a life-long Christian and a member of the Dry Ridge Christian Church. While her family was always of utmost importance to her, she was an independent and hard-working woman. She was owner of "The County Store" in Mt. Zion which she successfully operated for ten years, as well as a pre-school teacher where the students loved "Miss Janet." She was loved and respected by her co-workers and blessed by many close friends.
A visitation will be held for Janet on Friday, Jan. 20 at Dry Ridge Christian Church, 13 School St., Dry Ridge, KY. The family will receive guests from 5-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held the following day also at the church, Saturday, Jan. 21 beginning at 12 p.m. Directly following the service, Janet will be laid to rest alongside her son Grant at Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, 5320 Sherman Mt. Zion Road Dry Ridge, KY.

Janet was my best friend in high school many years ago. Her nickname was Jay in school.
We haven't seen each other offen but when we did, we would pick up right where we were. Talking and laughing.
I loved laughing and having fun with Jay. She will be dearly missed.
