dear skip and family

i recently had dinner with our old friend bruce rogers at a great oriental place in stamford called kotobucki; while recalling innis arden memories, the first people i inquired about were your warm and wonderful folks; i caddied for your parents in many husband/wife foursomes and it was such fun for all;
i had a very strong sense of the deep love and respect they shared.

i recall they last time i saw them in old greenwich was days before they moved to virginia; i was involved in multiple corporate layoffs and reorgs and landed back caddying while looking for a corporate sales opportunity; their encouragement and confidence lionized me and shortly after a tremendous position with france telecom which included international travel to london and paris materialized and i landed the job; don and nina farriss were the very best in my heart; you were blessed to have them as parents.

if a greenwich based celebration of life is planned, i would be humbled and honored to participate.

heartfelt love and regards,
