Dylan Joseph Baldassare, a radiant spirit born on August 6, 2004, received his Angels Wings on October 25, 2024, at 20 years old. His laughter, kindness, and unmistakable zest for life have left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Dylan was not only a kind, loving, and funny young man, but he also embodied an infectious joy that captured the hearts of those around him. An ardent fan of Taylor Swift, he proudly wore the title of "Swiftie." His passion for music was mirrored in his love of animals, particularly his beloved dogs - Abby, Rocket, Buster, and Paige. He often spent weekends surrounded by family and friends creating intricate Lego Star Wars scenes, his imagination blending seamlessly with the fantastical worlds he admired.
A devoted athlete, Dylan poured his heart into sports, showcasing his talent playing baseball, bowling, and kickball with the Greece Challengers. The pride he took in his accomplishments was palpable; each game, each strike, and each goal embodied the essence of his spirited character.
Dylan is survived by many who cherished him dearly: his mother, Stefanie L. Baldassare (Joseph Elliott), his grandmother, Rose Mary Spina Kinslow, his grandfather, Lawrence (Diane) Baldasare, and his great-grandmother, Frances Spina. He leaves behind a constellation of loving aunts — Desiree' (Rob) Kirchner, Meghan Baldassare — as well as uncle Patrick Baldassare and great aunts and uncles Louise (Kurt Mintz) DeMagistrie and Cynthia (Lawrence) Ennocenti. He will be profoundly missed by his many cousins, friends, and extended family, all of whom were captivated by his warmth and humor.
Dylan is predeceased by his great-grandfather Armond Baldassare, great-grandmother Marge Disalvo Baldassare, and great-grandfather Louis Spina Jr., ensuring a legacy of love that transcends generations.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, November 3, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, located at 6 Empire Blvd in Rochester, NY.
A Mass celebrating his life will follow on Monday November 4, 2024, at 10:00 AM at St Paul's Roman Catholic Church, 783 Hard Rd, Webster, NY.
As we remember Dylan Joseph Baldassare, we honor an amazing spirit whose memory will forever illuminate our lives, leaving behind a tapestry woven with love, laughter, and joy. Dylan received his wings too soon, but his essence remains cemented in the hearts of those he left behind.
