Jesus Ceniceros Espinoza Obituary

Jesus “Jesse” Ceniceros Espinoza was born on February 5th, 1956, to Manuel and Anita Espinoza in Tijuana. Arriving in the United States as a child, Jesse lived a simple life; however, he prospered and seized the American Dream with his siblings.

Jesse would eventually start a family of his own with his wife Corinne. He would work hard, day in and day out, to provide for that family, and he was sure to instill that same work ethic, along with the value of loving and prioritizing family above all, to his children. However, hard work doesn’t have to be so hard when you’re doing what you love. For as long as any of us can remember, Dad’s work always involved cars in one way or another; and, as sure as it was to see him working on a car, equally was it sure that you could find him with a coffee in hand to help him chug along through the day, or a crisp, cold, Diet Pepsi to wind down the night. We all have fond memories of sneaking away with a cola or one of his stashed sweet treats here and there throughout our childhoods, shortly before a brief scolding once we were caught. Whether he was shaping our tastes in music by playing his oldies to us in the back of a tricked-out impala or providing services to the community through his own towing business, Dad always made an impact wherever he was.

His life certainly wasn’t without turbulence, however, but he weathered it all boldly, especially since it was sprinkled with golden moments with his family. Whether it was teaching us to ride bikes, drive cars, watching us start families of our own, or holding his newborn grandchildren, Dad always made sure to cherish these moments, to stay life’s turbulence, and let time stand still for just a moment.

With tremendous sorrow, we learned that you passed unexpectedly on October 27th, 2024. So, we now take this moment to cherish you in return, Dad, and may time stand still in this moment of cherishing you, at least for a little longer than usual. Rest well, and know that we will continue to cherish you every time we crack a soda, and when we cruise around in our cars that you taught us how to take care of, and every time we play your endless albums of oldies.

We, your family, love you, and we will always cherish the impact you had on us.

Rest peacefully, Dad.
