Daniel is survived by his daughter, Danielle Smithey, his grandchildren, Arianna, Archer, and Amar'e, his father, Dewey Smithey, Sr, his brothers, Dewey Smithey, Jr. and Richard Smithey, and his sister, Fay Cepeda.
