Leon Boucher Obituary
He was born on June 23, 1933 in Fort Kent, ME and was the son of the late Ludger and Amelia (Lafferier) Boucher. Leon was the third eldest of 14 children, with brothers Emile, Eddie, Leonard, Louis, Roger, Donald, Wallace, Dalton, Robert, Wilmer and Maurice and sisters Anita Stella and Rita Hebert.
He was the owner of Brisk Concrete Foundation, Inc. a very successful foundation company for over 57 years. He loved to fish, hunt, garden (which he was very proud of) and enjoyed playing cards with his friends.
In addition to his wife he leaves his son Michael Clifford Boucher and his wife Anthey of Southington, his daughter Lisa Adele Boucher-Jones and her husband, Christopher of Natick, MA; his grandchildren, Michelle Boucher-D'Agostino, Robert Boucher, Amy Boucher Conti and her fiancé Mike Flagge, Tyler Boucher, David Presutti and Katherine Presutti; great grandsons, Andrew D'Agostino, Nicholas M. Conti and Joseph Conti, numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins and his great friends Ray Raymond and Nick Conti. He was predeceased by his son, James "Jimmy" Boucher and 8 brothers.
The Boucher family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the hospice staff at Bristol Hospital Homecare and Hospice and especially to his nurse, Jenny, for her wonderful care and concern.
His funeral will be held on Thursday, October 12th at 8:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main Street, Southington to St. Dominic Church, 1050 Flanders Rd., Southington for a Mass of Christian burial at 9 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Thomas Cemetery. Alberta, Michael and Lisa - To say that a great and unique man has passed is an understatement. I loved Leon and all the stories shared between he and my Dad "Big Mike" and with you Alberta and my mother Mary. I'm sure he was welcomed with wide arms at the gates by my mom and dad. May you all find comfort in reflecting upon fond memories together as you mourn his passing. May he rest in peace. With love across the miles - Amy

Sorry for your loss. My childhood would not have been the same if Leon wasn´t in it. Kind, caring and understanding man he was. My best memories are playing horseshoes with him helping him out at work and the darn 3 wheeler. Man he loved that thing. Hope you´re riding it again up there Leon!!! Your a great man!!

Sorry for your loss. My childhood would not have been the same if this man wasn´t in it. Kind, caring and understanding. My best memories of Leon are playing horseshoes,helping him at work and the 3 wheeler. Man he loved to ride that thing. He was a bit cuckoo on it,but would always look out for others. Gonna miss you, hope you´re riding your 3 wheeler up there. God bless!!

I am so sorry to hear about Leon's passing and my condolences to his family. Being the Brother to my God mother he was always like an uncle to me and I enjoyed my time spent with him Rest well Leon, you will be missed by many. Steven
