PAULA COLE Obituary

PAULA ANN COLE Paula Cole 83, joined her beloved husband Jack, and daughter Barbara Ann in Heaven on August 19th, 2023, with her family by her side, in Manteca, California. Paula is now resting peacefully in the loving hands of our Lord. Born on August 24th, 1939, in Hilo, Hawaii, Paula was a tremendously loved, adored and respected Mama, Vovo, great-vovo, sister, and auntie. The Matriarch of our family, she was a woman of strong faith, profound dignity, with an enormous abundance of love and was loyal to her absolute core. She was an island girl that moved to the mainland, and the islands never left her. She loved watching hula and telling stories of her life in hawaii. As she has left us now, we will never let the memories of her leave our hearts. She is survived by her sons, Paul Cole and his family and Jack (Pam) Cole, and their three children: Christopher, Crystal and Justice; granddaughter Coleen (Michael) Steele and their children Katelynn and Danniella; granddaughter Valerie Marin and her children Jaxon and Jacklyn; granddaughter Jazmin (Gabriel) Buchanan and their children Jaylen and Laelani; brother Stephen Paulos, and his children Christy and Ryan; sister Kathleen Luiz, and her children Jason and Jennifer and son-in-law Derwin Blackmon. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Escalon, California. Rest in Aloha Vovo!
