Julieanne Donovan Obituary
November 4, 1947 - January 3, 2025
Julieanne (Morse) Donovan passed away peacefully on Friday, January 3, 2025, at home in Abingdon, VA.
Julieanne spent her formative years in Evansville, IN, and later lived in Indianapolis and Carmel, IN; Gillette, WY; and Abingdon, VA. She attended Bosse and Harrison High Schools before pursuing higher education at Indiana State University (B.S.) and Southern Indiana University (RN). Her professional life was dedicated to helping others, first through her work in social services and later as a Registered Nurse at various locations throughout her career.
Julieanne's greatest joy was her family. She is lovingly remembered by her husband, William Donovan, and her son, B. Scott Donovan; Jamie & Tom Walker (sister) of Mooresville, NC; Dan and Kirstie Walker (nephew) of Charlotte, NC; Sarah Helen Walker (niece) of Mineola, FL; Matthew and Eunice Donovan (nephew) of Bloomington, IN. She also had a deep appreciation for the community of Abingdon and found great joy in the Highlands Festival held there each year.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 11, 2025 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. A memorial service honoring Julieanne's memory will be held at 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers the family asks you donate to American Kidney Fund at www.give.kidneyfund.org.

Julieanne's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
