APRIL LANNETTE ANDREWS April Lannette Andrews, 64, of Prairie Home, passed away peacefully with her daughter and son-in-law by her side on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at University Hospital after a short battle with cancer.April was born on February 6, 1960, in Atchison, Kansas, the daughter of Charles Carskaddon and Florence (Burke) Carskaddon. On December 10, 1976, she married Patrick Andrews in New Franklin, Missouri and he preceded her in death on March 17, 2018. April loved to read and took every opportunity to get into a good mystery story. She loved spending time with her daughter, Kodi, and son-in-law Mark, laughing with friends, and enjoyed getting together with family for Sunday Dinner.April will be greatly missed and forever remembered by her daughter, Kodi Welker and husband Mark of Montgomery City; her mother-in-law, Joan Andrews of Boonville; two brothers-in-law, Justin Andrews of Boonville and Wade Andrews and wife Linda of Columbia; long-time best friends, Joyce Gibson and Michelle Kaiser, both of Prairie Home; her fur baby Clyde, of Prairie Home who she loved so much.April was preceded in death by her parents; husband Patrick; one nephew, Chris Andrews.A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at Howard Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Fairley officiating. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service and following the services inurnment will take place in Walnut Grove Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Second Chance, 24687 MO-179 Boonville, MO. 65233.
