Barbara Sears Obituary

Barbara (Peaches) Sears of La Plata, MD, made her journey to heaven on October 23, 2024, at the age of 66, surrounded by family. Barbara is eternally reunited with her father, Hirchel McGinnis; mother, Dorothy Gregg; stepfather, Robert Gregg, Sr.; brother, Michael Sears; and great aunt, Elaine McGinnis. 

She leaves to cherish and celebrate her memory: two children: Michael Watts and Miaya Patterson; three grandchildren: Devon Taylor, Justin and Cianna Patterson; one great-granddaughter: Autumn Taylor; four sisters: Troy Sears, Jacquie Coles, Robbi Davis and Cathy Hodges; three brothers: Kirk, Jeffrey and Lowell McGinnis; one daughter in-law: Michon Watts; brother-in-law Craig Davis; sister-in-law: Darlene McGinnis; nephews Triston Coles, Marcus Sears, Corey McGinnis and niece Magen Martin; great-nephew Gabriel and Arden Coles; great-niece Chloe Jackson; one Goddaughter: Ashley Ayers; one chosen sister Machelle Monroe and a host of cousins, chosen family and dear friends.
