Dearest Mom: I truly believe you are beautiful and happy in Heaven. You deserve peace and I hope you have already reunited with Clarence, your parents, brother and aunts. And I hope and pray you have seen my beloved Kip. Thank you for being such a strong Mother and for protecting us throughout our life. You were a wonderful mother. You will be missed deeply. I love you.

We share the pain of your loss. What a wonderful lady! So clever and quick with a friendly word - she certainly never met a stranger. There are far too few such people in the world any more. She was so very lucky to have such a great son; the cross-country trip and how you cared for her towards the end surely meant the world to her.
