Archie Stenzel Obituary

Archie’s life began on August 15, 1937, in Marion. He was the son of Albert L. and Linda (Fischer) Stenzel. Archie was united in marriage to Maryellyn Koehn on September 20, 1974, at Parkview Christian Church in Springfield, MO. Archie ran the FINA service station in Marion for many years. He loved to work on vehicles and had always worked for either service stations or delivering fuel prior to owning the FINA station. Archie loved the country and living in their country home. He was especially fond of his dogs. He is survived by his wife Maryellyn of Marion; son Tim (Debbie) Stenzel of El Dorado; siblings Shirley Palmer or Springfield, MO, and Phyllis (Ralph) Kreutziger of McPherson, KS. Archie passed away on January 5, 2022, at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita. He is preceded in death by his parents and son Barry Stenzel. His family will gather with friends on Friday January 7, 2022, from noon until 2 p.m. at Yazel Megli Funeral Home, Marion where his funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. led by Pastor Maynard Koehn. He will be laid to rest in Marion Cemetery. Memorial contributions in his name may be directed to the Aulne Church.
