Lynn - Sheila M. Forrest, age 92, of Lynn, died Saturday October 5th at Life Care Center of the North Shore after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Charles R. Forrest with whom she shared 30 years of marriage.
Born in Swampscott she was the daughter of the late John and Vera (Monck) Wiltshire, she attended Saint John School and Swampscott High School. Sheila was employed as an Inventory Control Specialist at Champion Lamp for many years until she retired in 1994. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She is survived by one stepdaughter Nanette and her husband P. Allan McCarthy of Lynn, two stepsons Richard and his wife Karen Forrest of Grafton, Scott C Forrest-Allen and his husband Jason Allen Forrest of Lynn, one sister Vera and her husband Jack Craigin of Gig Harbor, WA, one sister in law Kay Wiltshire and her late husband Leo Wiltshire, four grandchildren Gail McCarthy of Lynn, Paul McCarthy and his fiancé Jessica Chan of Lynn, Timothy and his wife Emily Forrest of Rutland, Bradley Forrest of Worcester, and many nieces and nephews. She was also grandmother of the late Kevin A. McCarthy, and sister of the late Ella Mailloux, Paula Sentipal and her late husband Andrew
Service Information: Visiting hours will be held at the Parker Funeral Home on Friday from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will follow in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park. Please make memorial donations in Sheila's name to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
