Gloria Montoya Obituary
Gloria was born on February 19, 1943, in El Centro, CA, to Ynes and Maria Montoya. She was a lifelong resident of Calexico.
Gloria lived her life to the fullest with no regrets. She was a hardworking businesswoman and fully enjoyed her forty-year career in the import/export business.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roberto Flores, and parents, Ynes and Maria Montoya.
She is survived by her children: Christina, Shauna (Joe), Jon, and Gloria, and grandchildren: Heather (Vince), JoAnne (Frank), Maya, Daniel, and Marissa. She is also survived by her siblings: Lupe (John), Frank (Carmen), Connie (Saul), Peggy, Ynes (Gracie), Mary Lou (Lalo), and Joey.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2024, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Hems Chapel in Calexico, CA with rosary at 7 p.m. Mass will be held at 9 a.m. on Friday, July 26, 2024, at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Calexico, CA. Burial immediately following at Mountainview Cemetery.

My condolences to the Montoya family I have very fond memories of Gloria, we attended Calexico elementary and Calexico High (Class of 1960). We managed to stay in touch for many years. My prayers are with you. Always Sally ( De La Rosa) Brewer.
