Christina KEITH Obituary

Our loving mother, Christina Mary Keith, died in Guelph, Ontario, at age 82, on August 14, 2024, due to complications of end stage dementia. Her daughters, Georgina Mary Alexandra (Sandra) Evans (nee Clasen), and Hannah Christina Ramsden (nee Clasen), are grateful to have given her a beautiful, gentle and comforting end of life. Born in Toronto, ON, on January 4, 1942, Christina (fondly known as Betsy to some) had many friends and colleagues from her PHD work in Russian literature at Victoria College, University of Toronto, to her public school teaching days, and through her passion for art, music and social culture. She will be missed by many, especially her sister, Nancy MacLaren Smith and brother-in-law, Stuart Smith; her brother John Gregory Keith, and sister-in-law, Danielle Dansereau; sons-in-law, Robert J. Evans and Jamie R. Ramsden; grandchildren Isabel, John, Lily, Ewan and Isla; and former husband, Henning Clasen. A memorial will be held at the Arboretum Centre, 200 Arboretum Rd., Guelph, ON, on Monday, October 21 at 1:00 p.m. All welcome.
