JONESBORO - Lazelle Hall Hansen, 106, was ushered into the arms of Jesus on Aug. 29, 2025, at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House, as she traded her earthly tent for her palatial heavenly home. What a glorious reunion with all her loved ones who were waiting to welcome her home.
Lazelle was born on May 28, 1919, in Stuttgart, to Harry and Bessie Hall. She was the middle of 11 children. She was preceded in death by her parents and all 10 of her siblings: Meredith (Swaps) Hall, Willard (Dick) Hall, Margaret (Mert) Benham, Ruth Brown, Stella Neely, Harold (John) Hall, Jim Hall, Alieen Lewis, Melvin Hall, Harry (Liz) Hall, Jr. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George; two of their six children, Roger Hansen and Mollie Rogers; son-in-law J.T. Rogers; two grandchildren, Penny Nichols Stotts and Todd Hansen; and great-grandchild, Kayli Hansen. She is survived by her other children: Glenda Nichols (Landa), Randy Hansen (Jeanne), Janis Trammell (Jimmy), and Kim Morgan (Rocky), and daughter-in-love, Jane Hansen. She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 19 great-great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, Betty Hall, and a host of bonus grands, great grands, as well as many Hall and Hansen nieces and nephews.
She was a member of Christian Valley Christian Church, where she served faithfully through the years. Her love and service to the Lord and others defined her life.
There will be a celebration of a life well-lived on Saturday, Sept. 6, at Christian Valley Christian Church, 2016 Valley View Drive, in Jonesboro. Burial will follow at McDaniel Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. with the service at 2 p.m., with Brother Mitch Ford officiating. Gregg-Langford-Bookout Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
Lasting memorials may be made to Christian Valley Christian Church or Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House, 1148 E. Matthews, Jonesboro, Ark., 72401.
